PharmD is a  professional degree for a duration of six years that is five years of academic study and one year of internship, the eligibility criteria regarding this is passed 10+2 from a recognized board having studied physics, chemistry, biology/mathematics as core subjects securing 50% aggregate or above depending upon the norm of the college,

admission may be based on the merit of the last qualifying examination or it can be done through entrance tests such as conducted by Dayanand Sagar University, Bharathi Vidyapeeth etc,

Specializations is also offered in pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, industry pharmacy, pharmacology etc, when it comes to salary it varies depending upon skills and experience, the average salary for entry level it ranges from two lakhs to 3.5 lakhs, for intermediate level it can go up to four lakhs, and in case of experienced ones it can go upto eight lakhs, all these pay scale are on annual basis,
