CBSE gives 3 chances to appear and clear your compartment exam. In you case, you weren't able to clear compartment exam of class 12th. So, now you need to do your class 12th from the start. Class 11th examinations are not considered as board exams like class 10th and class 12th. You'll have to repeat your class 12th again.
