NEET requires Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. If you did 12th with PCM, you can still give NEET by taking Biology as an additional subject through NIOS or a recognized board. After clearing Biology, you’ll be eligible for NEET if you meet the PCB percentage criteria.

Hello

If you passed 12th with PCM, you can still appear for NEET by taking Biology or Biotechnology as an additional subject through a recognized board like NIOS. You must pass both theory and practical exams in Biology along with English to meet NEET eligibility. Once completed, you can register for NEET-UG and apply for MBBS, BDS, and other medical courses.

Hello,

Yes, you can give NEET even if you did 12th with PCM, but you must also study Biology as an additional subject.

Here’s how it can be possible:

  • You need to pass Biology (or Biotechnology) as an additional subject from a recognised board.

  • You should have at least 50% marks in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) combined if you are from the General category (40% for SC/ST/OBC).

  • Your additional Biology must be accepted by NMC (National Medical Commission) for NEET eligibility .

So, if you haven’t studied Biology yet, you will need to take it separately and pass it to become eligible for NEET.

Hope it helps !

NEET Requires candidate to have studied physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology to become eligible for NEET.you can enroll in an open school NIOS ,you can appear as an additional subject through NIOS or state open school.once you complete biology as an additional subject.then you will appear for NEET.

Hello Aspirant,

To be eligible for NEET, it would be necessary for any candidate to have studied Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject in the 12th standard, or appearing for it as a private candidate or through NIOS. If you have not studied Biology in the 12th, you will need to reappear for the 12th standard with Biology first, before you can meet the eligibility requirements to attempt NEET.

Hello,

If you pass 12th class with physics, chemistry, and mathematics, now you want to take the NEET exam. It's still possible for PCM students like you to take the exam; you just need to study biology as your additional subject in the 12th. If you haven't, then you can take biology in NIOS, or National Institute of Open Schooling, where you become eligible to take the NEET exam.

I hope it resolves your query!!
