mhtcet 2020 application process has started from 7th january and will end on 29th february, so you have still time left to fill the application form, yes you may fill the category if you still not have the hard copy of document , but there is some necessary information to fill in the application form regarding your caste certificate,  and during the cap application form filling you need to submit the certificate of caste category.
