ofcourse they will ask for the marksheet and even your passing certificate given to you by your school. Marksheet of 10th is basically used as a birth certificate and 12th marks obviously are directly considered for your admission. If you're entering into a college by giving an entrance where your marks in 12th won't be considered then also 10th marksheet would be needed.
