Hello Manikk,

Yes, there is definitely some benefit for General EWS candidates are compared to General Candidates. A 10% quota is provided for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) among General Category and with that a simple and main advantage will be of Cutoff which will be less as compared to general candidates which will play a important role in getting you a good college because each percentile matters.
You can apply fresh as General Ews for JEE mains mains April session.

Hi dear,

You can make corrections during April month exam if you can provide ews certificate. this will definitely help you to get a seat in NIT if you have comparatively low rank then a general student.
