Hello, the percentile is a volatile concept and in simpler terms it means that if for an exam of 100 marks 30 students write the exam and the top scoring candidate has a score of 65 then the second ranking student has a score of 40 then approximately both the candidates are having 100 percentile. It means there is 0 percentage of students ranking above them. Thus it is based on the number of candidates attempting the exam in that year.
For previous year, reserved category cut off ranges from 2 to 70 and considering the negative marking system too a student has to score 2 mark in your category.

Hello there,
According to the exam pattern of JEE Mains 2021, there will be 3 subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
Each subject contains 20 MCQ's and 10 Numerical type questions. And you have to attempt only 5 out of those numerical type.
So, it means, there will be a total of 90 questions, and you have to attempt only 75 out of them. Overall the paper will consists of 300 marks. Now, If I talk of the cut-off for PwD category, then for the year 2020, it was around 0.06%.
If you do even very less but correct questions, then surely you will get some seat in some good college. But it will be good that, you do right questions around 6-7 per subject.
Hope it helps.
