When you say you mentioned the title wrong, if instead of Mr. you mentioned Dr. or something else, it is still fine. Because Titles do not affect your merit list. An error in mentioning your father's title will not cost you a seat. So that is still fine. If it is a goof up in the genders, that is still ok.
