Dear Aspirant,

If any candidate wants to avail any kind of reservation belonging to any category in any government Institute, that particular candidate needs to furnish the relevant documents at the time of its verification. Failing to provide the caste certificate or in this case the EWS certificate, that seat will not be provided to the candidate or rather would be made to forfeit. The seat shall either be left vacant or be contested in the next round of counselling.

I hope you understand the gravity of the situation that you are in right now. As belonging to a particular reservation category increases the chances of getting a seat in good government Institutes, it therefore is mandatory for the candidates to furnish documents during the counseling process or within the stipulated time frame. Infact, while applying, make such documents ready for submission should already be taken care of without resorting to last minute options/actions.

The important aspect is that the seat in the candidate's name gets cancelled if he/she fails to provide the same within the stipulated time frame.

No, It is not acceptable whatever category you are from you should have proper certificate otherwise it take it as invalid. So make sure you have proper certificate at the time of verification.

I selected only general last year and now I am looking to choose gen-ews category , if I fail to provide certificate , will I be eligible for general seat ?
