Hello,

No, you won't face any major problem during admission. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:

JEE Mains Eligibility: Since you are giving your Class 12th board exams in 2025, you are eligible for JEE Mains 2025, even if you had marked yourself as a dropper earlier.

Correction in JoSAA Counselling: During JoSAA/CSAB counselling, you will need to upload your Class 12th marksheet. If there's any discrepancy in the details you provided in JEE Mains, you can correct it at that time.

Hello there,

No, you won't face any problem during admission. Your dropper status in JEE Main form is only for record-keeping and doesn't affect your eligibility.

Since you appeared as a regular 12th student (not improvement) , your latest marksheet will be considered for admission. Just ensure that:

  • Your 12th marks meet the eligibility criteria (75% or top 20 percentile for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs).

  • Your documents are correct during JoSAA counseling.

You are safe for admission.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

As a dropper, you filled the JEE Main Session 1 form, but now you've appeared for the 12th exam as a regular student, not as an improvement candidate.

As a regular student, you've appeared for the 12th exam, which is different from being an improvement candidate. Improvement candidates are those who've already passed the 12th exam and are re-appearing to improve their scores.

## Potential Issues During Admission

Given your situation, you might face issues during admission time if:

1. Discrepancy in Application Form: If your JEE Main application form mentions you as a dropper, but your 12th exam result shows you as a regular student, it might raise concerns.

2. Eligibility Verification: During admission, institutions may verify your eligibility, including your 12th exam status. If there's a mismatch, it could lead to issues.

## Precautions and Solutions

To avoid potential issues:

1. Correct Your Application Form: If possible, correct your JEE Main application form to reflect your current status as a regular student.

2. Keep Documents Ready: Ensure you have all necessary documents, including your 12th exam admit card, mark sheet, and certificate, to prove your eligibility.

3. Seek Clarification: If you're unsure about your eligibility or application form, contact the JEE Main authorities or the institution you're applying to for clarification.

Stay calm and prepared, and you'll likely navigate this situation smoothly!
