Firstly you really need to be careful while filling your form to avoid such mistakes in future. The first and foremost thing you can do is talk with the head of the department or the authorities about your problem, I am sure they will help you .
But if they failed to do so ,then lastly you have to study those papers and clear them. There is no other option left for you.
