It is difficult to get CSE branch with 10000 rank but their can be light chances in middle Nits but ,do not prefer in lower. Nits like Northeast Nits. You can prefer CSE in top 15 -17 Nits ( check placement statistics of all then, decide don't consider over all rank).
Then, you can get mechanical engineering in top 8–15 Nits, there are nice chances for mechanical .
You can also get electrical electronics and communication as well as in good Nit .also in top 10 Nits.
For rank 10,000–15000.CSE branch is very very tough to get in good as well as middle Nits.if you want CSE in lower Nits first see Placement statistics .

You may get mechanical in 10–15 (rankof nit)Nits fill options for that. Good chances for electrical as well. You can get civil engineering in top 10 or top 12 Nits.
