because SCs have to score very less and they still can get into nits

you got a rank of 12697 sc rank, that means your general rank is in lakhs...

sorry to say but chances of you getting nits are very less

but you don't deserve it as well.....with so low marks

with your above mentioned rank and score the chances for you to get a seat in any of the NITs is quite less. But with your rank you are eligible for a seat in a few of the IIITs namely Delhi. However you can always participate in your respective state level counselling.

You haven't mentioned your home state, and the branch you want to choose. Analysing the previous year data, you have low chances of getting into the top NITs. You may get some lower NITs though like NIT Srinagar, NIT Mizoram, and so on. Apart from these, you can also get many good private colleges with this percentile.

Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.
