41 is percentile marks not percentage.

percentile is a relative score in your slot compare to other students in same slot; it depends upon the total number of students and students who score more than you.

41 percentile means nearly 59 percent students score more than you and your approximate rank will be nearly more than 5.5 lakhs and with this rank you will not even qualify jee mains .

So try for the next attempt withproper preparation and concentration.

Or take admission in nearby city college base on your 12th marks .

But i would suggest  you to  take drop instead of taking admission in nearby college beacuse a highly reputated ( NIT;IIIT;IIT) will give you more opportunity and today allother colleges which are good give admission on basis of jee mains.

The required percentile for getting colleges as per career360 predictors should be 85 atleast . I would suggest you to re appear  for the exam to be conducted in April so that you could score more .
