Dear Aspirant,

As per last year's cutoff trend, OBC candidate must score 500 and above marks in NEET to get government medical seat through state level quota. As you know that the NEET cutoff changes every year as it depends on various factors such as number of students appearing for neet, their score,difficulty level of exam and number of seats available at medical college.

So 489 score might be a low score to get government medical seat.You can try your luck at the time of counselling.
