Hello Swarnendu, 70 marks in Jee mains are too less. You have not even qualified the cut off for jee main 2018 which is 74(CRL). Cut off for NITs is really high. They are among the top government college of the country. Not even in any category, it is possible to get CS in Nit west bengal. As per your marks your all India rank would be around 2-3 lakhs. According to the last year stats, closing rank in gen category for cse was 14703 for home state and 9003 for other state. I would suggest you to start looking for other colleges that take admissions through jee mains for such higher rank.
