Since you have not mentioned any name of the exam in which you have got this rank so I'm taking that you are talking about JEE - Main rank. You have also not mentioned any special category so I'm taking that you are from general category. With the rank of 1,18,000 you won't be able to get into any IIT or NIT top-ranked state colleges will also be a difficult option you can either get into any private university or you can get into any low ranked state government college. Or you can give the JEE - Main exam next year and ace the exam with a good score and good rank and get into your desired college.
