You have done well in both exams so I would suggest that
If you want cs/ it go for hbtu
If you want other core branches go for mnit , also try get best possible branch in mnit through home quota
. you can also try for nsit/ dtu/ iiit A / iiit D.

Honestly speaking I don't know much about it. But if you are getting mechanical in NIT R and are interested in it , then do consider it . I think it is a good NIT also.

Hello Aman,
You have very decent chance to get NITs. If you have rank below 11,000 in JEE Mains then why you are looking somewhere else. You must go for NITs first. You can get HBTI Kanpur or MNNIT Allahabad easily because you have state quota too. So first go for these colleges.
If you don't get seat, Then go for IET Lucknow.
