With this rank, you have good chance to get into an NIT. Most probably, you can get into you homestate NIT under HS quota. You can chek that using the college predictor or last rank details.

            Yes you are eligible for NIT . Only apply for NIT in your home state not outside your state.

Admission in colleges depends upon Cut off list prepared by the colleges or by JoSAA. It depends upon your rank also.You should apply for counselling.Try filling government colleges in home quota first .

Try checking previous year cut off list and closing rank of NIT's and IIIT's.
