You may get lower branches like production and industrial engineering in your home state and in some north-eastern NITs…More or less,the case will remain same for NIT Srinagar.You have less chances to get NITs based on your marks in other state quota.

Which is your home state?
You can get good private college in other states like: Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Most of the states have reservation for other state students in private colleges based on JEE Main score/rank. You need to apply separately for them.
