As you haven't mentioned the campus you are seeking for, I'll give you a generalized answer. Now to get ECE in Amritpuri campus you need to score below 4500 rank. To get ECE in Amrita Coimbatore campus you need to score below 2000 rank. To get ECE in Amrita Bangalore campus you need to score below 5200 rank.
These are the closing ranks for ECE according to previous year's cutoffs for open category.
With your rank, you have no chanches to get into ECE branch in any of the Amrita campuses with open quota.
