JEE Main 2025: College Predictor | Marks vs Percentile vs Rank
New: JEE Seat Matrix- IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTI | NITs Cutoff | Official Question Paper
Latest: Meet B.Tech expert in your city to shortlist colleges
To estimate your percentile based on your JEE Main scores, we can use the following general understanding:
Percentile Calculation : Percentiles are based on the number of candidates who scored less than you. A percentile of 46 means you scored better than 46% of candidates.
Score Interpretation : If you scored 123 marks in JEE Main and received a 46 percentile, it suggests that many candidates scored lower than you, but a significant number also scored higher.
The actual percentile for a specific shift can vary based on the overall performance of all candidates in that shift. If you want to estimate your percentile for another shift, you would need to consider the average scores of that specific shift.
