Every year PESSAT cutoffs are reducing numerically

Considering last year's ECE cutoff (1600) in the main Campus you have a good chance of getting ECE in case you dont EEE is a sure chance . and ECE in PESU ECC campus is assured , since ECC is also under the same management and has become a state private university from 2019 , its equally good and placements occur together

Seeing the previous year cutoffs I guess yes you may have a chance to get your desired branch i.e, ECE in the main campus in 1402 rank. But since you know the cutoffs may vary as it does very year but there are quite good chances for you to get ECE.
