Hello Sandeep!
According to the previous year trends you will get CSE in mediocre to lower level NITs.
Try to look that NIT which comes under your Home state quota. Your probability of getting CSE will be a bit higher.
If your HOME STATE NIT has higher cutoff then target some lower NITs.
Don't go for lower GFTIs as 165 marks is pretty decent to achieve CSE.
Hope that helps!

Hey Sandeep.
See the marks u have scored comes under the average marks of the JEE MAINS paper. With this score u should be getting some of the average NITs for pursuing ur btech career in some of the good branches like the core one. Wait until the NTA announces the final rank list of the JEE MAINS. About getting CSE branch might not be a good option as that branch u would be getting in some of the lower NITs instead of that u should be opting in other branches in some good NITs for ur further career.
Hope u got ur point. Ask if any query.
Good luck
