Hello There ,

you can try for home state and lower north eastern nit's , in these college cutoff is generally lesser .

According to your rank and category , you can try for iiit's like-

1) iiit pune

2) iiit  bhagalpur

3) iiit una

4) iiit  surat

5) iiit kalyani  and other iiit's

you can also try for other gfti which take admission under josaa  like these -

1) bit mesra

2) pec chandigarh

also participate in csab, so you can get a decent branch like production and metallurgy  , in them .

Do apply for home state counselling also as you can get some good state government engineering colleges in your state .  Hence apply for the csab round and state government counselling and you might get a good college .

Hope it Helps .

Greetings!

You may get a seat into NITs, but it won't be the old and top tier NITs and moreover, you may not find the subject of your choice or the subjects which are much in demand, but still I'll suggest you to wait till the final counseling, as I made this estimation looking at the previous year numbers but the numbers changes every year, so you may stand a chance, or else you can try for some good private colleges.

Use this college predictor to predict your preferred colleges: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=google-search&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=jee-main-clgpd&gclid=CjwKCAjw8-78BRA0EiwAFUw8LCZzc_mUqoD9Ke9YJToFV2qwb6_-xedOjNK5ZXMWZAvNFPTHXTYquBoCGFcQAvD_BwE

I hope this was helpful. Thank you!

Dear Aspirant,
It is very difficult to get a seat in NIT or IIIT with this rank.Generally every year the closing rank for any stream of NIT OR IIIT ranges within 10,000 for SC category. So as you can see your rank is much beyond the boundations of official closing rank.Dont worry, you have got a decent rank and you can easily opt for a good private college in your state. You can check the college you can get with this rank.
