Hello Momin,

Sorry to say , you dont have much chances to get CSE via counselling , but there are chances you get IT in MIET, but via management quota you are eligible for CSE in all 5 colleges of Jammu and Kashmir.

The GCET prefers students with ranks below 1k but CSE department gets filled just at 250 or below .

So , you better opt for IT which not much different than CSE except it is a bit easy and does not teach you the hardware part and concentrates more on te software part.

Anyways choice is yours.Hope you make a better choice.
