As a teacher training College KLE Society’s College of Education, Ankola started in 2005 is located at Uttar Kannada, Karnataka. This is a mixture co-educational institute recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education and offering a Bachelor of Education degree. Located in a large 13.23 acre plot the college has a total of 139 students and has a faculty of 15 teachers. Firstly, it identifies the role and commitment of the institute to quality education in its NCTE approval, secondly, focuses on producing efficient educators for the future.
To support the learning processes of the students, the college offers numerous amenities for the use of learners. The library is fully equipped with many books, dailies, magazines, and journals and also computer and internet for research. Several laboratories are open for practical purposes; Educational Psychology Lab and Educational Technology resources are among them.
Sports facilities exist with a view of addressing issues to do with health and team spirit among the students. The college also has its own hostels for boys and girls for out station students so that they can feel comfortable to stay away from home. A school computer system with about more than thirty computers connected to the internet enhances e learning The school has a large, well-equipped cafeteria for the supply of foods and other nutritional requirements to the students. College of Education at KLE Society, Ankola, at present, has only one full time course, the B.Ed program. This program of study take two years and the institute has an approved capacity to take one hundred (100) students per intake to enable the institute ensure that it has low student teacher ratio in order to effectively cater for all the students. The concept of the B.Ed course is one whereby educating and training young teachers is well prepared for improvement in the teaching field.
The admission policy of KLE Society’s College of Education indeed follows the marks/SAT score of the candidates as per Government of State and the University norms. Admissions are given on merit according to the existing norms of admission, on the basis of the qualification examination or an entrance examination. B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education or B.Ed program at KLE Society's College of Education, Ankola, is a two-year full-time program that prepares learners to be effective teachers. Collage has good campus and one library also there and it contains one assembly hall and one ladies room and our collage has one principal chamber and teachers has one own cabine and nss room also there and sports room and play ground also there in our college
Our college have good building, classroom, library, garden,playground,assembly hall,computer room, ladies room, boys room. And library have so many books. And books contain all type of informations. Our college environment was good.
