Hello,

If you belong to general category, then it is quiet difficult to bag seat in government college of West Bengal with 260 marks in neet, under 85%ALL INDIA QUOTA.
even if you participate in state quote counselling, with your West Bengal domicile certificate, then also your chances are low to get into medical college with UR category.
You can Use NEET College Predictor to Check Your MBBS/BDS Chances in All India Quota, Deemed Universities & State Quota seat Based on Your NEET AIR

Then also you have less chances with this score, but you can try for counselling because no one knows the luck, may be this year cutoff trends favours your admission under sc category.

Good luck.

Hello student,
You have not mentioned which category you belong to. In west Bengal, With this score, you can get a college only if you belong to sc or St. Last year, a minimum score of 183 was required to fetch one a seat in the Murshidabad medical college in St category under the state quota. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection in your state

Hi Nawang,

If we see previous year opening and closing ranl trend its difficult to get seat in government medical college with this score.

You may try in private medical colleges like Haldia Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Purba Medinipur

Hope this information helps.
