If you are a general student then I would like to say that you cannot attend the counselling session as you have cleared the eligibility criteria.

But there are many other private colleges which take admission on the basis of jee mains marks .

Also You can apply through home state quota.

Hello Kalyan, Well, There is very less chance of getting into any NITs at this rank. You can probably try in some of the lower NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Goa, but you need to be a home state resident of any of these states so that you can easily avail the home state quota. Otherwise, if you apply through all India quota, there is no chance of admission.
