Hello aspirant!
Based on your rank you can get admission in some of the lower Nit's like nit Uttrakhand, nit Hamirpur etc , and the branch will also be like textile, chemical sort of. You will not get cs and it in this rank, but these branches are not bad so you can try checking these Nit's and if you find any problem doing so please feel free to comment and ask.

Hello yankita,
With a rank of 28k you can get the following NIT colleges through home state quota as per previous year cutoff marks :

NIT Hamirpur
NIT Srinagar
NIT Silchar
NIT Surat
NIT Jalandhar
NIT Raipur
NIT Kurukshetra
NIT Arunachal Pradesh
NIT Mizoram

You will get lower branches and not top branches like CSE and others. I would suggest taking admission in IIIT colleges and colleges which accept jee results main percentile for admission.
