With a rank of 7,500 in obc category, you can get the following branches in NIT Tiruchirapalli in the Home state quota.

• Production engineering
• Metallurgical and materials engineering
• Civil engineering

Also,  closing ranks in a particular category means that it is not for the CRL. Closing rank of 2000 in obc does not come under the CRL. CRL is different and category rank is different.
