Inorder to qualify AP Eamcet, the candidate must have a percentage of marks which is equal to or more than 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking.The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe have no minimum qualifying mark but they will have limited seats of admission based on the seat availability.

So,one should get 40 marks or more in the entrance exam conducted by TS Eamcet.The common mistak that students make is that they assume that they score more than 40 marks after combining their PCM aggregate but that's incorrect.

As you have scored less than 40 marks in AP Eamcet,you will not be considered for ranking and further process unless you belong to SC or ST caste.
