You will get few newer IITs or ISM Dhanbad but you will only get a lower branch and that too by the end of counselling process. By lower branch I mean branches like Metallurgical. Though Metallurgical isn't too bad but bery less student are actually interested in it. Your 2900 Jee Mains rank is much decent to provide you a good branch in good NITs. And some of these NITs are also ranked above these newer NITs.

Hi Mohit,

At this rank, it would be very tough for you to get into  IITs. Though you might Pharmaceutical Engg. at IIT BHU. Your JEE Main's rank is decent enough to fetch you admission in good NITs. Below is list of all such NITs where you can get admission.

• MNIT ( ECE )
• NIT Delhi ( CSE )
• MANIT Bhopal ( CSE )
• NIT Durgapur ( CSE )
• NIT Jamshedpur ( CSE)
• MNIT Allahabad ( Electrical )
