According to the previous year cutoff, if you belong to OC, a cutoff more than 195 marks would easily fetch you a seat. It varies for other categories in a decreasing manner. If you belong to ST or SCA (SCA is different from SC), a cutoff of 150 marks is enough. This is as far as TNEA (commonly known as DOTE) is concerned. For management quota, the cutoff required will be 5–6 points low than DOTE but you have to give an aptitude test and an interview to fetch a seat. Please note, there are no capitation or donation fees in management quota. If you are from CBSE background, only management quota will fetch you unless you belong to SC, ST, or SCA.
