Yes, you can get mechanical in VIT AMRAVATI with this rank. Vit Amravati is not as good as VIT VELLORE and CHENNAI branches are. The placements of this college is also not upto the mark.
I would suggest you to look for other colleges or drop this year and study hard for next year examination.
