It is difficult for you to get a seat for MBBS in government colleges through 15% All India Quota, however via 85% State Counselling, you have fair chance to get a seat at government medical colleges if you are from General category.

During State Counselling in Tamil Nadu, your rank will be decreased gradually as the calculation will be done based on your State Rank and a separate merit list will also be published by Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu. Exact answer to your question cannot be determined as cutoffs change significantly every year and largely depend on:

• Number of candidates appearing in the  exam

• Difficulty level of  question paper

• Marks scored by candidates in the result of NEET UG 2021

• Total number of MBBS and BDS seats in Tamil Nadu
