In year 2018 cutoff was
Open Category(OC) 520- 452
Backward class(BC) 470- 430
Backward Class Muslim(BCM) 458- 408
Most Backward Class (MBC) 435-399
489 is a good score but considering the rank vs marks ratio this year, chances seems to decrease a bit.
But keep your hopes high, there is chance that you will get a seat by second round of counselling.
There is no other way of applying to medical colleges except registering yourself for state counselling and filling of choices according to your convenience
