As per your question, according to your OBC rank honestly you cannot get mechanical engineering seats in NIT andhra pradesh as the cutoff rank is around 8.7k.But you can try different NIT as well as per your reliability for mechanical engineering seats like:-

NIT durgapur :-closing rank as per trend is around 50.8k

NIT goa:-closing rank is around 60.7k

NIT hamirpur:--closing rank is around 67.8k

NIT raipur:-closing rank is around 64k

Honestly If you take my opinion you should take NIT durgapur as per your convenience as in terms of placement they offer good placement package.

Congratulations for your JEE RANK. Aspirant sorry to say but with this rank you can not get admission in Mechanical ENGINEERING Branch of NIT ANDHRA PRADESH even if you are from Andhra Pradesh then your Home State quota is also of no use.

As because according to previous year cutoffs and trends the closing rank for Mechanical branch are as follows:

Home State -OBC-NCL - CLOSING RANK(6254-7672)

Other State -OBC-NCL (7447-8793)

And your rank is far beyond that range so it is impossible to get Mechanical Branch in NIT ANDHRA PRADESH.
