With that rank in JEE Mains, you have less chances of getting seat into top government engineering colleges like NITs IIITs and GFTIs. You can get seat into some of the newer NIts and IIITs for non core branches like petroleum engineering, biomedical engineering, food Technology, etc.

As you are from OBC reservation category,you might get some good branches in the newer NITs in the subsequent rounds of counseling. So please go for all the rounds of JOSAA counseling and also the CSAB spot round so as to further increase your chances of getting a better seat.
