With your rank, there are less chances to get nit. But you can get civil in eastern nits(usually lower ranked) like nit arunachal pradesh, nit mizoram and you can also get other good nit if you are a home state student .
If after councelling you dont get your preference college then you can go for state joint entrance examination councelling if u have given it.

There are vague chance to get admission in NIT colleges with this cut off. Your cut off is quite high to procure seat in NIT colleges. But you can try for other state government college, you can easily get admission in good government colleges.

Hey congratulations! You performed extremely well in the JEE Mains examination. To get a seat comfortably in a NIT you must be in top 10000. But still you can get Civil in these colleges if you have a home state quota else admission in these institutions will be difficult for you.
