i got 60% in 12 HSC . Can i get admission in engineering College

Hello Abhishek,

As per the eligibility criteria laid down by various institution; you need a minimum 75% for admission to IITs/NITs/IIITs and for BITS you need 75% in PCM/PCB whereas for candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PWD should have a minimum percentage of 65.

For other state and private institution, that conduct their own exam such as WBJEE,VITEEE,AEEE etc minimum of 60% is required in 12th Board examination.

So you can definitely get admission in Engineering College.

HSC-higher secondary certificate .You got 60% in the HSC its ok.you are willing to join in a engineering college so the minimum percentage for the joning of the higher premium engineering institues demand of the 75% aggregate of the student qualification,some of the colleges will be taken to the admission when 60% is the criteria percentage .no promblem you can easliy grab  a seat in the engineering stream be happy
