i got 61 percentile in jee mains from gen ews category can i apply for jee advance

Hope you are doing well.

Congratulations for your jee result. As per your question honestly you cannot give jee advance as your percentile is not sufficient as per jee mains cutoff as this year jee cutoff is around 90percentile . Even if you belong to ews general category then also you cannot go for jee advance as ews gives 10percent reservation to general student. But dont loose your hope as now jee is been conducting twice a year so you can try again. And if you want to predict your college at this percentile then you can visit:-

As this year's cutoff percentile for general EWS category in JEE mains 2020 is 70.2435518 percentile. So according to your percentile in JEE Mains 2020, you have not qualified for JEE Advanced. You need to score above the cutoff percentile in JEE Mains To be eligible for JEE Advanced..

With 61 percentile in JEE mains you have failed to qualify JEE mains as you belong to ews category and qualifying cut off percentile for ews category is 70.2435518 percentile and thus you are not eligible for JEE advanced examination


As you have not qualified JEE main, you are not eligible for even josaa counselling and thus cannot get into NIT , IIT gftis etc
