Yes, there are some college which get admission based on combined performance of board results and entrance exams conducted by them. Like SRM university, Amrita.
Sastra accept admission through either through stream 1 based on JEE and board marks and stream 2 purely based on board results.  Do please visit this website and apply for the exam . Preparation is essential.
