Sorry to say but if you belong to General Category you cannot get any NIT with this percentile as your rank would be more than 200,000. To get into an NIT you have to score at least 92-93 percentile and to get into good NIT you need to get at least 96+ percentile.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry to  say you can not get into any NIT with 70 percentile in JEE mains.you can get in other good colleges . if the percentile is around 95 then you can get in NIT.Dont worry there will be second attempt in july.so work hard.

Your score is too low to get any NITs. In order to get NITs a candidate needs to score more than 90 percentile for reserved students and more than 95 percentile for unreserved students.

If through category quota you're qualifying JEE Mains then you can try in some private colleges. I would recommend you to work hard and increase your percentile in JEE Mains July session.
