NIT Jalandhar- textile engg. (home state), Industrial and process engg.(HS)

Nit Agartala- all branches(HS)

Nit Goa- civil(HS)

Nit Hamirpur-chem. engg(HS), civil(HS), material sc. engg(HS), mech engg(HS), dual degree ECE(HS)

Nit Meghalaya- all except cse(HS)

NIT Puducherry-all branches(HS)

NIT Raipur- Biotech, metallurgy, mining,biomedical (all HS)

Nit Sikkim, mizoram,manipur and Nit arunachal pradesh- all branches(HS)

NIT Silchar-civil(HS), electr and instrum. engg(HS)

NIT Srinagar- all branches(HS) except CSE

Well, a rank of 70,000 is enough to get u in some good government colleges. It will also fetch u admission in NIT bt u will nt get into top nit's. U can get core branches in pec chndigrh ,GNDU, LPU & many other gud universities. Do remembr dat aftr getting admission in any prestigious institute with such a rank, u need to wrk hard to earn a gud package.Bcoz jst getting into a gud colleg is nevr enough. It just add brand name to ur resume.

Based upon your JEE Mains rank you can surely get good institutionns including NIT also. You may not get totp level NIT's but mid level NIT's like NIT Meghalaya, NIT Poducherry  etc. are possible. Even you get seat in CFTI's like HBTU, PEC, etc. You may also try for LNMIIT and JIIT noida if possible.

Unfortunately you cannot get nits and IIITs .

As even the closing rank for new nits are 40 thousand for general category so 

You have many opportunities like go for state colleges many accept JEE main score.

You can go for Thapar University Jadavpur University and also Jaypee University

Dear Aditya,your rank is not so good,there are no chances of getting NITs,GFTis,etc.You can get these colleges only by some homestate quota that too for lower ranked NITs.I advice you to look after state govt. colleges of your state as these are also very good.Every state has different process of counselling so keep updated.Hope this helps.You can use this predictor https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
