As per your question, as per you 72k rank in CRL and 20k in your reservation category you can get into several Nits and Iiits with different branches :-

1) NIT patna :- you can get into this with CSE, Mechanical, and electrical branches

2) NIT silchar :-you can get here chemical engineering ,civil as well as mechanical.

3) NIT silchar :- you can get chemical as well as civil branch here

4) IIIT kota :- you can get CSE, ECE

5) IIIT haryana:- you can get CSE, ECE as well as IT

6) IIIT west Bengal:-you can get CSE here

7) IIIT andhra pradesh :-you can get CSE, ECE, As well as IT

These are some of the NITS and iiits which you can get at your best .

As you have secured a rank of 20249 in jee mains 2020 with obc category and 72098 rank from general category then your can not get a seat in nits, if you belong to other state.

Now if you belong from home state quota then you can easily get some lower and some good nits like :-

Nit sikkim
Nit durgapur
Nit Manipur
Nit arunachal Pradesh
Nit Srinagar
nit Agartala, etc.

But if you are an other State student, then your chances are almost negligible in any nits or iiits and you can not get any seat.
