JEE mains 2020 qualifying  CUT OFF is given below :-

* General :- 90.3765335 percentile

* GEN-EWS :- 70.2435518 percentile

* Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) :-72.8887969

* Scheduled Caste (SC) :- 50.1760245 percentile

* Scheduled Tribe (ST):- 39.0696101 percentile

* PwD :- 0.0618524 percentile

So, with  percentile 82 percentile if you belong to general category then you are not eligible for JEE advanced examination but if you belong to any other category i. e ews, OBC ,SC ,ST or PWD then yes you are eligible for JEE advanced examination
