TAPMI accepts the scorecard of three national level entrance tests - Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Common Aptitude Test (CAT) and GMAT for its admission process. Apart from that candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline. The institute will also consider the academic profile and work experience (after graduation) of candidates before shortlisting for written ability test (WAT), Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD) round.

The eligibility procedure for taking admission in this institute is :

As per the cutoffs till now, the average CAT percentile to get admission in this college is, 80 - 85 percentile and the required percentage in 10th, 12th and Graduation is 60 percentage each.

For admission in T.A Pai Management institute,  the candidate must have a minimum of 60 percent marks in his/her tenth, twelfth and graduation examinations. Also,  it considers a minimum percentile score in the following exams :
