Its good that you want to become a part of the Medhavi Chhatra Yojana!!! Your percents are pretty good, and worth you understanding how eligibility for these is calculated.
The “Medhavi Chhatra Yojana” is no more than a scholarship scheme for Madhya Pradesh. The eligibility criteria are usually very picky and depends (mostly) on their whims with minor tweaks every academic year but in general students passed their plus 2 board exams (except CBSE/ICSE from MP) - the actual cut off percentage for is usually 70% and above (12th board examination) (+2) for MP Board and 85% and above for CBSE/ICSE .
So, the thing is that in no cases, the percentage is being calculated on the percentage of marks obtained in each of the subjects (it considers marks obtained in all the subjects which is usually 5 or 6 based on how your board got designed.) In the case of Medhavi Yojana, for example, that “best of five” requirement often means the total aggregate .
One major criterion for MPBSE & CBSE or ICSE examinees is that they should have secured not less than 86% in aggregate of all six subjects, which is 70% for SC candidates! The scholarship is open only for students seeking admission to first year of degree course in Govt or Govt Aided or Unaided minority or Minority institutions (affiliated to Mumbai University or Post graduate government colleges) in Engineering or Technology, Medical, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing.
