I got 85 percentile in jee mains 2019 can I get admission in PEC Chandigarh

PEC University of Technology, formerly known as Punjab Engineering College, is an engineering institute located in Chandigarh, Punjab. The institute was founded in 1921 and is one of the oldest educational institutes in the country. PEC University of Technology offers B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. courses.


Eligibility criteria  

  • Candidates should have passed HSC in Science stream for pursuing B.Tech courses and a graduate degree in concerned disciplines for PG programs
  • Admissions will be based on National level entrance exams, JEE Mains for B.Tech and GATE for M.Tech.
  • For the Ph.D. program, the university conducts its own written entrance exam and interview.

well first you should know your rank then you will gonna to predict,from previous year

use the below formula to know your normalisation rank.

rank= ( 100-your total score)*1400000/100

considering total number student  including april shifts will 14lakh.

Well,as for now,we can't predict the cutoff for different colleges but you can predict your rank and then compare colleges based on your rank and past years cutoff.The formula to calculate rank is rank=(100-percentile)*874469/100.Based on this rank,you can predict colleges from https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor  .But this rank and percentile is subject to change after april session of mains as the number of students giving the exam may change.Hence,it's just prediction as for now.Hope this helps.
